The PVC adhesive for installing your glued PVC floor is the Thomsit - K 188 E Aquaplast PVC Adhesive. With this adhesive, you can bond approximately 40-60 m2 of PVC. This quality PVC adhesive features Emicode EC 1 plus, which means it is low-emission and can therefore be processed sustainably. In addition, the adhesive has very good adhesion. After gluing your PVC floor with this adhesive, you will achieve a rock-solid end result!

Consumption

The consumption of this PVC adhesive is around approx. 150g/m2 and approx. 300g/m2. The exact consumption depends on the quality of the substrate and the amount applied. Basically, between 40-60 m2 can be bonded. The Thomsit PVC adhesive has a flash-off time of approximately 10 minutes, an open time of approximately 40 minutes, and can be walked on after approximately 24 hours. It is also important that your PVC floor is properly rolled after installation!

For proper application and adhesion of the glue, it is very important that the subfloor is thoroughly dry and free of dirt. In addition, we advise leveling the subfloor beforehand for a glued PVC floor. This way, you prevent small imperfections in the subfloor from becoming visible in your PVC floor.
