Difference between Viennese Point and Hungarian Point
The difference between the Viennese Point and Hungarian Point is not very significant. Simply put, you could say that the Viennese Point floor is laid at a sharper angle than the Hungarian Point. With Hungarian Point PVC, you see straight V-shaped strips, which is not the case with the Viennese Point; the diamond-shaped sections all fit together. This can make it look a bit busier. However, it is a very original, special floor that few people have and makes an impression in a living room, meeting room, or kitchen. To quickly understand the difference, it's best to look at photos of both, and you'll see it immediately.
Having Viennese Point glue-down PVC installed
For the Viennese Point, we always recommend choosing glue-down PVC (also known as stick-down or dryback). Such glue-down PVC floors last the longest and cause no problems despite the somewhat vulnerable point shape (60 degrees). Ensure you use an experienced floor layer or consult Solza for having your floor installed. Installing a Viennese Point floor is slightly more expensive than a straight strip PVC indoor floor. This is because it is a bit more labor-intensive.

Frequently asked questions about Vienna point floor PVC
What is a Vienna Point PVC floor?
A Viennese Point PVC floor is a luxurious floor with a pattern similar to a Hungarian Point, but with a more subtle and refined effect. The planks are laid at a 60-degree angle, creating a symmetrical and classic pattern.
What are the benefits of a Viennese Point PVC floor?
This floor combines the look of a traditional wooden floor with the benefits of PVC. It is water-resistant, wear-resistant, and easy to maintain. Additionally, PVC feels warmer and softer than real wood and is excellently suited for use with underfloor heating.
Where can a Herringbone PVC floor be used?
Thanks to its water resistance, this floor is suitable for all rooms, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms. This pattern is also often chosen in commercial spaces due to its chic appearance.
How do I maintain a Weense Punt PVC floor?
This floor is easy to clean with a vacuum cleaner and a slightly damp mop. Use a pH-neutral cleaning agent to protect the top layer and avoid aggressive cleaning agents.
