Our Unigrund-S primer comes in a user-friendly 1kg package with a reclosable lid. This packaging is perfect for small jobs such as a toilet, a single wall, or a small floor. Applying the primer before applying self-levelling compound or tile adhesive helps prepare the surface, whether it is absorbent or non-absorbent. It ensures better adhesion and prevents material waste. With this 1kg package of primer, you can prime approximately 13m2.

A-grade primer

The Unigrund-S primer is ready-to-use, water and alkali resistant, and contains no solvents. It is fast-drying, has very low emissions, and is universally applicable for both indoor and outdoor use. This makes it a very flexible and reliable choice for all ceramic tiling projects.

Instructions for use and important considerations

After cleaning the surface, apply the primer to prepare it for the next step. Please note: the primer should not be applied wet-on-wet and is not suitable for temperatures below 5 degrees or above 30 degrees Celsius. Store frost-free and always consult the packaging for correct processing and drying times.

The difference from regular primer

While our standard primer is specifically designed for absorbent substrates, the Unigrund-S primer can be applied to both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates. This makes it particularly useful for projects where new tiles are placed over old tiles.
