When to use this tape?

In principle, this tape can be used with any type of underlayment. However, we especially recommend using this A-brand Floer tape with underlayments that do not have an overlap and/or special adhesive strip, such as the Rigid Click PVC Underlayment. With such underlayments, it is often desirable to properly seal the underlayment and connect the different underlayments to each other. For this, this Aluminum Tape is an excellent solution!

How do I make my floor waterproof with Floer Underlayment Tape?

As indicated on this page, with this type of tape it is also possible to make the subfloor waterproof. Ideal for use in a wet room such as the bathroom, toilet, or kitchen. However, it is necessary that the tape is combined with an underlayment that is also water-resistant. Then apply the tape to all seams between the different rolls of underlayment. Finally, it is necessary to also seal the transition between the underlayment and the wall with the tape for an optimal effect!
