Is it stick of PVC, dryback PVC or glue PVC?
A question that we see more often passing by, but where the answer is relatively simple. Because it's all good. Both glue PVC and paste PVC can be used in the Netherlands. Dryback PVC is exactly the same, just more of an international term.
PVC subfloor
You don't just put a slab of PVC floor on any surface. Because the floors are so beautifully thin, a perfectly even surface is required without obstacles or irregularities. For this reason, in most cases it is necessary to level the subfloor of a slab PVC floor. By allowing a layer of egaline to run over the surface and harden, you can make the subfloor perfectly even. Here you can then directly paste the PVC, also known as Glue PVC , On gluing. Egaline, also called leveling agent, is available in all kinds of different designs and brands. Glue-down PVC is adhered to a leveled subfloor and offers a sleek finish. Click PVC has a click system and is installed as a floating floor, often with an underlayment.
With proper maintenance, a glued PVC floor can last 15 to 25 years. Choose a floor with a wear layer of at least 0.3 mm for domestic use and 0.5 mm for intensive use.
