The History of Gelasta
Gelasta, the prominent flooring brand, has deep-rooted origins in Genemuiden, the pulsating heart of the Dutch carpet industry. As a true family business, the adventure began in 1975 when Henk and Jan Last, two brothers with a heritage in carpet entrepreneurship, laid its foundation. The passion for flooring was in their blood, and this tradition continued when Henk-Jan, the next generation, took over. Over the past forty years, Gelasta has developed under their leadership into a leading wholesaler with an extensive range of flooring. This impressive growth trajectory has strengthened their market position and consolidated their reputation as a supplier of high-quality flooring products.
